Building Systems Administrator - Windsor

Primary Duties:

  • Update Computer Maintenance Management Software (CMMS) to ensure accuracy of information as it relates to the existing buildings and equipment
  • Update CMMS upon completion of new projects and equipment changes
  • Update the Preventative Maintenance system within the CMMS ensuring consistency of PMs across multiple sites
  • Develop and provide Preventative Maintenance Reports for Supervisors and Manager 
  • Follow-up on assigned corrective actions associated with Health and Safety, Equipment Failures and Assigned Projects using the Preventive Maintenance system
  • Update and manage the Facility Condition Assessment Program Database on behalf of the customer upon completion of Projects within the facility
  • Investigate and help troubleshoot equipment issue within the facilities. 
  • Assist in root cause analysis and create action plans to be submitted for approval for common/reoccurring failures
  • Liaisons with Third Party Vendors to ensure Building Automation Systems in each facility accurately reflect the building infrastructure

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education in any of the following disciplines; Planning, Engineering, Architecture, Facilities, Construction, Project Management or a suitable equivalent combination of education and experience 
  • Familiar with building planning and design principles, concepts and procedures 
  • Familiar with building environmental systems; heating, ventilation and air conditioning
  • Aware of common building operational practices and various related Acts/codes/standards, i.e. the Electrical Code, Plumbing Code, TSSA, Fire Code, Building Code, Occupational Health and Safety Act
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project
  • Client relationship management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Analytical, problem solving, organization, and time management skills
